How Do I Start a Treatment Session?
Before starting a treatment session, the patient profile, treatment protocol, and Motor Threshold must be available in Stimware. Once the patient is loaded, you can review the treatment settings and begin stimulation.
Start a Treatment Session
- Open Stimware and log in.
- Select Load Patient from the Home Page.
- Choose the patient from the patient list.
- Verify the patient's treatment protocol and Motor Threshold information.
- Review the treatment settings and calculated treatment intensity.
- Position the stimulation coil according to the patient's saved targeting information.
- Select Start Session.
- Confirm the treatment parameters if prompted.
- Select Start Stimulation to begin treatment.
During the Session
During treatment, Stimware displays:
- Treatment progress
- Remaining treatment time
- Stimulation settings
- Session status
The operator can monitor the session and make adjustments as permitted by the selected protocol.
Pausing or Stopping a Session
If necessary, you can:
- Select Pause to temporarily stop stimulation.
- Select Stop to end the session.
Session information can be saved once the treatment is complete.
After Treatment
When the session ends, you can:
- Save the session record
- Review session details
- Generate reports
- Schedule the next treatment session
