What are the minimum system requirements for SAM?

The neurocare SAM software requires a Windows computer with sufficient processing power, memory, and Bluetooth capability to ensure stable real‑time Neurofeedback and QEEG operation. Reliable performance depends on meeting the minimum CPU, RAM, storage, audio, display, and Bluetooth requirements.

Operating System

A Windows computer is required to run the neurocare SAM software.
Windows 10 Professional or later is supported for installation and operation.

Processor (CPU)

The computer must be equipped with an Intel processor with a minimum clock speed of 2.5 GHz.
This processing capacity is required to ensure stable real‑time signal processing during Neurofeedback and QEEG sessions.

Memory (RAM)

At least 8 GB of RAM is required and must be available for installation and operation of the neurocare SAM software.
Insufficient memory may negatively affect performance and system stability.

Storage

The system must provide sufficient hard disk capacity for software installation and operation.
Adequate free disk space is required to store session data and recordings.

Connectivity

Bluetooth support is required for wireless communication between the computer and the SAM amplifier.
For reliable wireless signal transmission, the computer must support Bluetooth 5.0 when using the neurocare SAM amplifier.

Audio Hardware
