What Is Auto MT?
Auto MT (Automatic Motor Threshold) is a feature available in Stimware TBS EMG Auto MT that automatically determines a patient's Motor Threshold using EMG measurements. By analyzing muscle responses electronically, Auto MT helps simplify the threshold determination process and reduce reliance on visual observation.
What Is Auto MT?
Auto MT is an automated Motor Threshold determination feature that works with a compatible EMG device.
Instead of relying solely on visible muscle twitches, the system measures muscle activity electronically and uses this information to calculate the patient's Motor Threshold.
How Does Auto MT Work?
During Motor Threshold determination:
- EMG electrodes are placed on the target muscle.
- The stimulation coil is positioned over the Motor-Hotspot.
- Stimware delivers a series of stimulation pulses.
- EMG responses are automatically recorded and analyzed.
- The system calculates the patient's Motor Threshold value.
Once complete, the Motor Threshold can be saved to the patient's profile.
