What Treatment Protocols Are Available in Stimware?
Stimware includes a library of FDA-cleared treatment protocols that can be selected during patient setup or when loading a protocol. These protocols are preconfigured with stimulation parameters and treatment durations, helping operators deliver standardized treatments using the Apollo TMS Pro system.

Stimware provides several FDA-cleared treatment protocols that are available within the protocol database. These protocols are preloaded within the software and can be selected during patient setup or protocol selection.
The available protocols differ in stimulation frequency, total pulse count, and treatment duration.
Available Protocols
Depression FDA (11s ITI)
This protocol is designed for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).
Protocol Settings
- Train Frequency: 10 Hz
- Inter-Train Interval (ITI): 11 seconds
- Total Pulses: 3,000
- Treatment Duration: Approximately 18 minutes
Depression FDA (26s ITI)
This protocol uses the same stimulation frequency and pulse count as the standard depression protocol but includes a longer inter-train interval.

- Train Frequency: 10 Hz
- Inter-Train Interval (ITI): 26 seconds
- Total Pulses: 3,000
- Treatment Duration: Approximately 37 minutes
Theta Burst FDA
The Theta Burst protocol (iTBS) is designed to provide a shorter treatment session while delivering the prescribed stimulation dose.
Protocol Settings
- Burst Frequency: 50 Hz
- Train Frequency: 5 Hz
- Inter-Train Interval (ITI): 8 seconds
- Total Pulses: 600
- Treatment Duration: Approximately 3 minutes
OCD FDA
This protocol is intended for the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

- Train Frequency: 20 Hz
- Inter-Train Interval (ITI): 20 seconds
- Total Pulses: 2,000
- Treatment Duration: Approximately 18 minutes
Selecting a Protocol
When creating a new patient or loading a protocol, Stimware displays the available FDA-cleared protocols. To use a protocol, simply select it from the protocol database.
The selected protocol is then associated with the patient or loaded into the treatment workflow.
Off-Label Use
If protocol parameters are modified or a custom protocol is created, Stimware identifies the protocol as off-label use and displays a notification to the operator.
Only the predefined FDA-cleared protocols are included in the standard protocol database.
